Marco is the Chairman of inspiratia, a company he co-founded and which provides thought-leadership, data and analytics to the infrastructure and energy sectors globally. He is also a Senior Adjunct Professor of energy at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna, where he also serves on its European Advisory Council. He has spent 30 years developing, financing and investing in renewable and clean energy technologies around the world.
Jonathan McNairHead of Content
Jonathan is responsible for inspiratia’s news and analysis coverage of the global renewables and infrastructure sectors. After joining the company in September 2015, he initially worked on the editorial team as a renewables reporter. Prior to inspiratia, he spent a year completing an MA in Journalism at City University London. This was undertaken after a number of years working as a specialist energy analyst in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market.

Based in Washington DC, Ott heads up content for inspiratia's events. Having first joined the company in London in 2014, Ott has covered the global infrastructure finance market extensively, and currently also looks after inspiratia's Americas and infratech content, as well as hosting webinars and chairing industry panel discussions.
Magda KowalewskaOperations Director
Magda is managing inspiratia’s operations, overseeing its administration, finance, HR, and events programme. Before joining in 2015, she had previous experiences in the Healthcare and Education sectors. She received her MA from the University of Szczecin, BA from the University of Bari and graduated in Management with HRM from the University of London.
Omolola is an Analyst at inspiratia, covering global infrastructure and energy sectors and manages inspiratia’s Africa theme page. She produces weekly in-depth analysis on key markets and trends, and undertakes research tasks for inspiratia’s bespoke assignments. Omolola holds an MSc in Development Studies from the School of African and Oriental Studies (SOAS), University of London. Prior to joining inspiratia in 2018, she was project manager at REA Consult, an infrastructure and renewable energy consultancy.
Ofelia is an analyst at inspiratia and editor of Asia theme. She has a MSc in International Relations from the University of Essex, with a focus on renewable energy policy and is currently in charge of inspiratia’s riskWatch methodology. Ofelia has previously worked in the renewables sector in China as a programme officer on publishing, on a wide range of United Nations Industrial Development Organization and International Center on Small Hydropower projects. She is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese and Romanian.
After graduating from the University of Salford in 2009 with a BA in Politics, Robert has spent several years working in print and online journalism in Manchester and London. In the past he has been part of editorial teams at Criticaleye, HRreview, Mondo*Arc, Lux and The Marine Professional. He has also contributed to the Manchester Evening News, Port Magazine and GQ.

Prior to inspiratia, he has written both online and in print at global financial publications including World Finance, European CEO and The New Economy. He has a degree in business management from the University of Westminster and is NCTJ-qualified from the Press Association.
